Steve Jamison ONE TO ONE & SMALL GROUP YOGA CLASSES & RETREATS BY DARTMOOR

Feature image

Yoga retreats at The Cha Yoga Centre, in the Coimbra region of Portugal.

The Cha Centre is in the foothills of the Serra da Lousã, near the river Ceira. The aim is to make the teachings of yoga available through asana (posture) practice, pranayama (yogic breathing) and meditation, with the guidance of an experienced teacher. There is plenty of space and time for you to do other things as well.

Cha Yoga Centre has been reconfigured and there's a new house, Chestnut House, with a yoga terrace and pool on the way.

At Cha stillness in nature helps you re-tune, have space and time. You can experiment not only with postures with a teacher in a small group or 1:1 but explore and absorb other limbs of yoga. There are lots of opportunities to sink into nature, wild swimming in the river Ceira close by and at numerous river beaches, walking in the hills or just sitting. Deep tissue masage is available by arrangement. Sometimes it's better to just rest, we lead such hectic lives with endless input we've forgotten how to be still and quiet in nature.
